Student Enrolment Information
As a State Integrated school, Matamata Christian Schools enrolment policy and processes comply with the requirements of the integration agreement and the Education and Training Act 2020. The school is required to have a fair and transparent student enrolment policy which includes priority of enrolment for student applicants.
There are several conditions of enrolment, including payment of attendance dues and acceptance that students will participate in the general school programme that gives the school its special character. Click/tap here for more information about attendance dues and the schools core purpose, core values, vision, mission and 6 school goals.
The School has a maximum roll entitlement of 120 students, 9 of whom may be non preference. Until enrolments reach 95%, (114 enrolments) applications for enrolment will be open throughout the year. When enrolments reach 95%, applications for enrolment will only be accepted during the enrolment periods decided by the School Board from time to time.
Families who are new to the school and do not have other children already enrolled use the pre enrolment process. The enrolment process begins with providing a completed pre enrolment application, and is followed by an interview with the Principal and a tour of the school. Further information will be required as the enrolment process progresses. If you have any queries please contact the school office on 07 888 5444
